This nest box comes flat packed and ready to be assembled.  All you will need is a cross-head screwdriver.  It’s very easy to assemble, you don’t need any technical skills.  This nest box comes uncoated.   You can choose to oil, lacquer or paint it yourself or for an additional $10 we will paint it with 2 coats of high quality decking oil for you.  It is made from 12mm construction plywood.  The internal front wall has a ladder to assist critters in exiting the box.  The roof opens for access to the interior for cleaning or maintenance.  A latch is fitted to the roof to secure the box and prevent intrusion by predators.  Wood shavings are included to line the base for added comfort and warmth.  Treated pine cleats are fitted to the back of the nest box to keep it away from the tree when installed.
